Ben Davis

Ben Davis, MA, ATR-BC, LCAT (he/him) is a psychotherapist, educator and author, as well as the founder and director of Full Spectrum. Over the past two decades, Ben has focused his work on the unique and specific needs of individuals and families in transition. He uses art therapy and verbal modalities with clients, aiming to build personal agency and empower healing. His approach to therapy is warm, empathic and strength-based.

Ben’s work is informed by non-pathologizing treatment models, community-based research, creative arts modalities and systems theory. He has presented in hospital, academic, and agency settings nationally and internationally. Ben is SOC8 Certified and committed to supporting individuals, couples, and families move towards actualization of their authentic selves.

 

Ben provides psychotherapy, clinical supervision and consultation, as well as training for therapists, educators, and institutions.

His last two publications include Oxford University Press's What Everyone Needs to Know: Gender (2020), and Art Therapy Practices for Resilient Youth: A Strengths-Based Approach to At-Promise Children and Adolescents, published by Routledge in 2019.
