MAK MORIN
Mak Morin, LCAT (they/them) is a drama therapist whose clinical ethics are informed by anti-oppressive and transformative political frameworks. They are passionate about the human capacity for liberation and healing, and our ability to empower each other and collectively improve our lives. Mak takes a flexible, relational approach informed by narrative, expressive arts, and play techniques; they partner with clients to co-create a space for reflection and growth. Mak has specific expertise working with LGBTQ+ individuals as well as folks struggling with obsessive-compulsive symptoms and disorders (OCD). In addition, Mak works with those navigating anxiety, depression, self-worth, relationship with body, interpersonal dynamics, neurodivergence, as well as varied adjustment or transition related experiences. Mak is a graduate of New York University's program in Drama Therapy, and has experience working in community-based mental health settings as well as clinical behavioral health. They are also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy and a Level 1 Practitioner of the Developmental Transformations method.
